If there are two types of projectors based on the quality and speed of conversion, the home and the data projectors, then we can classify them further into three types. The first is the LCD. The other two types are the DLP and the CRT.

If there is one thing that you may do with your eyes closed it is buying a CRT projector. It is costly and it delivers. The quality is often good and dependable.

The main difference between the DLP and the LCD projector is that while one is small and compact the other has excellent picture transition qualities. The LCD is often the householder's choice because they are made with very few movable parts.
